This is 20yr old song. The very first song I ever wrote for my wife. Based on a true story, we are a true love story.
I played this song over the years in my early band days, but it was more strummy, more rock and I simply outgrew it. I love this song, I really do. So I wanted to bring it back in a new version that is more me now.
Picture yourself sitting inside a lava lamp, and that lamp is in a smoky jazz bar and you are watching myself, Kevin and Jen play for you.

I had to reach out to October Ember on this song. I couldn't think of a better fit and I was right. Its like they were on this song all along, years ago. This is always the version I wanted.

There is a very distinctive guitar tone and style between Kevin and I. It's hard to tell because we are #scarfteam IYKYK. But I'm sure you'll figure out who is playing what.
