A Note From Ken;

As an ambient composer and nut, working with songs with vocal parts are my absolute favorite. Personally, I feel the human voice, used as an ambient instrument gives a whole new life and perspective to ambient compositions; so when Luke asked, I didn't have to think twice. And "Going to Georgia" is song that I can relate to through it's simplistic yet thought triggering lyrics.

For this ambient remix, besides my usual set of sounds and instruments, I used a truly inspiring vocal synthesizer to perform the 'singing' parts of the song. What's amazing about this vocal synth is its versatility and realistic responds accurately to how I set it. You could go fully synthetic or as realistic as possible. I chose the latter and I think it sounds pretty good.

Listen to elements of The Missing Note, coupled with Luke's guitars and vocals by Lucy (my vocal synth) in this Ambient Remix of "Going to Georgia". And Thank You Luke for the opportunity.
